Happy Birthday Daniel. This Sunday we had another couple (our new friends from church) over for dinner and cake. I made the cake.. I decorated it with what we had.. which was neon colored food coloring.. so, we had a bright pumpkin orange and bright green writing.. he he... oh well... the cake was still good. We didn't have any candles so here was what we had... we figured one big candle would do... It was a fun night. We played games (Dans favorite thing to do) and talked. It was fun. He turned 26 on Sunday.
EmmaLynn got a present from Grandma Johnson in the mail. It was a Halloween book and kitty. she loves her new kitty. We went to the zoo last week. It was so fun... here are a few of my favorite pictures.
There was a netted place with all sorts of birds.. they would walk out right in front of you. They didn't care.. this is how close we got to one bird... some others we could have sat down next to.

I love the zoo pictures!! What a fun time! I hope we will get to go to the zoo next summer when Sawyer is older to enjoy it!! Maybe you'll be back by then and we can all go together!!
