Saturday Date

We got my friend from work to baby sit for us, and we went to Bush Gardens here in Tampa. It is a theme park/ zoo.  They have roller coasters and water rides and the others are safari rides and stuff like that.. It is soo cool. The best part about it is that if you are a resident you pay for admission once and the rest of the year you can use the ticket to go back. So our tickets are good till december of 2009. How great is that. We had such a fun time together. Next time we will bring EmmaLynn cause they have a lot of kid rides that she could ride there. The picture below is the Sheikra one of the roller coasters. It was so fun... See the video at the bottom for an idea.. it takes you up 200 feet in the air and then it is a dive drop. It is a crazy rush.

They had a place filled with parrots and they would land on you and drink the nectar you had.. I only let a couple land on me, cause they also would go potty on people... that was so gross, but cool that you could hold them. 

Dan thought it was pretty cool too. Notice he is trying out the goatee thing. What do you think about it?

We had such a good time just hanging out. We didn't do everything we could have, but we are not in a rush we are going to go back again as soon as possible probably next week even. When we went to pick EmmaLynn up, she didn't want to come home with us. She had so much fun playing with my friends kids. She even cried when we took her.  She was ok after a minute... Seems we need to get working on a playmate for her sometime... I guess we will see.

4 Years and Furry Friends

Well, November 13, Dan and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary. We were had origionally planned on celebrating this weekend cause we actually only had about 2 dollars left in our account, and we get paid today. So we just called it good said our Happy anniversary and went to work. Well I am working a 4 to midnight schedule right now cause I am training a night class. They had moved the training up to this week, so I had no time to request or make any changes ahead of time anyway.  

So I was getting things squared away with the trainees at work and I walk out side cause I was looking for one of the reps, well right as I walk outside, Dan pulls up... I am thinking... that was weird... so naturally I ask him what is he forgot, cause he forgets things quite often. He then pulls a dozen roses out of the car and brings them up to me...  Awe how sweet.... Then I look in the car to see EmmaLynn.... She wasn't there... 

Naomi: " Where is EmmaLynn?"  

Dan: " She is at home" 

Naomi: "With who?"

Dan: "Sarah and Joe"

Naomi: "Ok, well why did you leave her there?"

Dan: "Cause we are going out to eat for our anniversary"

Well I was confused cause he knows I only have 45 minutes for lunch, Well Dan pre arranged it with my co-workers to have someone come in for an hour or so while we went out to eat. So I was able to go out for dinner with my sweet thoughtful husband last night. I got back to work and everyone oohed and awed at me and told me what a good guy he is.... Which I already know.  That is kinda why I married him.... hehe. Anyway, it was a very nice surprise. We went to Carrabba's Grill. It was expensive and good and very filling.  I went back to work and could hardly keep my eyes open I was soooo tired... Anyway it was great. 

I am so thankful for Dan and the wonderful man he is. He truly is good to me, and makes sure that I am happy. He really is a good, honest, kind,thoughtful guy. He is a very good daddy, and tries his best to do what is right for our family.  Thank You Dan for 4 successful years. 

On another note... we have a friend in our wall.. EmmaLynn was playing today with the little car you see... It is trying to scratch it's way out... It is actually pretty loud. It was so loud when it was trying to get out it even scared EmmaLynn. It keeps trying to run up the wall but it can't make it... so it stops for a little bit ( I think to rest or something) then you hear it again first it starts scratching then it starts to try and climb out... It is soo funny. Dan is going to go to the office when he gets home today and get it taken care of.  Below is a video of what it sounded like.

The maintenance guy came today and cut a hole in the wall and let the little guy out our back door.. The funny part about it though is, after we let it out, there was skeletal remains of another Squirrel who was unsuccessful at his attempts as well. How sad. The poor little thing must have seen it and that is why he was trying so hard to get out... He didn't want to end up like the other guy... And thanks to a hole in our wall he was able to make it out alive. Good Luck little guy.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Daniel.  This Sunday we had another couple (our new friends from church) over for dinner and cake. I made the cake.. I decorated it with what we had.. which was neon colored food coloring.. so, we had a bright pumpkin orange and bright green writing.. he he... oh well... the cake was still good. We didn't have any candles so here was what we had... we figured one big candle would do... It was a fun night.  We played games (Dans favorite thing to do) and talked. It was fun. He turned 26 on Sunday.

EmmaLynn got a present from Grandma Johnson in the mail. It was a Halloween book and kitty. she loves her new kitty.

Finally

I have been waiting so long for her hair to grow out so I could do something with her cute hair besides a little brett. I finally was able to put little sprouts in her hair today. I am sooo excited to be able to finally. Doesn't she look so cute?
