Our New house

We are so excited to have moved into our New house in Louisiana. I love how much storage it has and we have plenty of room. Now all I need is a little bit of decorating help if you can't tell. We've been here about a month already and I still have nothing up on my walls or anything. Anyone who's any good at decorating feel free to give me pointers

Master bath and shower. I still haven't found the perfect decor. So it is pretty simple.

Master bed room. Is bigger than this picture shows, but this is as good as I could get. we're fixing to get a new bed and bed set eventually and move the queen to EmmaLynn's room. Gotta save up for that.
Hall to the master bedroom. Yes that is a double closet on the left with lots and lots of shelves for storage. I love it!!
Kids bathroom. I decided on monkeys. Can't go wrong there. I have some rugs to put in still. But it turned out quite nice.

Ezyas's room part above and part below

EmmaLynn's Room above and below. Yes, I have blankets up over her windows... This is because I am Ghetto and haven't decided what to make her bed spread and want to make or find curtains to match. Eventually it will happen.

Stairs up.. The door straight ahead is yet another closet with lots of shelves and storage.
living and dining room area. downstairs bathroom. it is small but good enough for what we need. The other 2 bathrooms are huge.
Hall to the garage straight ahead. to the left Laundry room to the right downstairs bathroom.
Living room with the ottoman which doubles as a gate to block the stairs although, Ezyas is now quite good at maneuvering the stairs in both directions.
Mini hall with coat closet to the right.
Playroom/ sitting room

Kitchen with pantry and other closet we keep the stuff we don't want Ezyas into.

I am so excited to have so many cupboards. I have never had this many in my life. I can fit all my dishes and spices and food and still have extra room for whatever else I have.. (which is nothing) but still it's so exciting!! I also have tons of counter space for baking (if I ever decide to start that again) or just for what ever. I love love love it!!!! Don't you?!!?

Bass Pro Shop and more.

We went down to the Louisiana Boardwalk (an outdoor mall here in Bossier City) We thought it would be fun to take the kids to bass pro shop and look at the fish tanks. The kids enjoyed it. By the time we were ready to go we discovered they had free pictures with Santa. So we decided to stand in line since we were in the front. It turned out pretty well. Our pictures turned out better than theirs. Their santa was a really good one also.
Setting for the pictures. Cute right?!

Here they are all looking and EmmaLynn is smiling. We couldn't get Ezyas to put his tongue back in his mouth. So this is as good as it got.
EmmaLynn saw a Tinkerbell or Dora fishing pole before we got pictures taken... So what did she tell santa she wanted for Christmas? A bike and a fishing pole. She has stuck to these 2 items. Although she will not be getting either from us... Maybe santa will hear her. Dan is now thinking he might have to start fishing just so he can get her one and take her with him. I think it is a good idea. Maybe for her birthday!

Oh and here is a cute video of Ezyas and EmmaLynn dancing

And EmmaLynn trying to fall asleep so she doesn't have to eat dinner. She was pretty tired.

Birthday In Louisiana with Daddy

Ezyas First Birthday

Coeur d'Alene Birthday

Here is the ducky Cake I made him. It turned out better the second time around.

So the first cake I made the head fell apart upon taking it out of the pan... So I got a little creative, since it was closer to Halloween time when we celebrated in Coeur d'Alene. Poor ducky

I just used some red sprinkles and by the time they melted on the cake it looked like dripping blood... A little morbid? don't worry we just used it as the extra cake if we needed more. It did taste delicious though

blow out the candles

He wasn't too sure what to do to the duck... when he did touch it, he got pretty upset cause he couldn't get the frosting off his fingers.
He did eventually eat some... not much though.

clean up time, he had it in is diaper... yummy
He wasn't really thrilled about the clean up process.
It was a great treat to be able to have a little birthday bash with family before we left for Louisiana.

Bowling fun in Coeur d'Alene

Before we left we went bowling with Grammy and Grandpa Johnson and Aaron and his kids at Tripple play. EmmaLynn got to duck pin bowl, she had so much fun with her cousins.
