More cute dancing by EmmaLynn
So, This week I put in Baby Einstein Babies First Moves for EmmaLynn.. She loves it. It has a bunch of babies and little kids. I think the best part of the whole thing for her is the song if your happy and you know it! She did it way more the first time and even lifted her hands for hooray, but I didn't have my camera... So I had to rewind and have her do it again.... Needless to say she didn't do it the same.. but here is the video of what she did do.. still soooo cute!!!!

Finally a warm day!!!
Well It finally warmed up this last weekend for just a few days! That was just what I needed though!! Friday we played outside in the back yard and Saturday we went over to Eleasha's house and played with Keeley and Jarrin. They have one of those jeep cars that drives. We put EmmaLynn in there with them and she would not let us take her out. So Keeley and Jarrin took turns driving with EmmaLynn along for the ride. It was so funny! I also got a hair cut so I thought I would take a quick picture.. not the best picture but there it is!
This is why 3 year olds don't have driver licenses... but they sure had fun!

A Very Simple Truth
So.. I was just sitting the other day reflecting on my life... I was thinking.. "how did i ever get to where I am now with becoming a 'screw up'". I then look back at the things that made me who I am. A large part I give to my mom.. My mom is the most special woman I know. For her to struggle through this aweful disease, and still be able to laugh and love is amazing to me. She is such an example of faith. I love her so much. She taught me that it isn't worth it to mess things up for something that wont last. She taught me how to cook. The best memories I have with her was before she got too sick, she was helping me to make pizza... This was my most favorite thing to make with her. I memorized her recipe. I also thank her for taking the time to be with me and teach me to do that! The other memory is of her calling me "Naomi Marguerite" and saying it with a ring to it! Then just saying she loved me, or just sitting on her lap when i was little and her telling me she loved me and that all of her daughters were just so beautiful! I lov her so much and her example I hope i can teach my kids truth like she taught it to me. Her disease is also a part of what has made me who I am. I don't think i would be as honest and true to myself had it not been for this trial that is currently a part of my life also. I have had to grow up like I never thought I would. I have had to learn to be responsible and help to take care of my family. We all took care of each other. I don't take any credit for raising my sisters alone. I believe we all had a part in each others life. We looked out for each other and helped each other to the best of our ability. I tis what we had to do to stay strong. My sisters are definitely some of my best friends! I feel pretty certainly that we were all put here together in our family for this specific purpose to be there for each other and to help each other. I know we all are here to help each other to become everything that we can and to make the best decisions in life as far as health, spirtuality, and in eternity. For my mom and my sisters I am very grateful. I also have a lot to give to my church leaders who acted as 2nd noms to me, and also as leaders. There are a certain few who have blessed my life greatly and I wish more than anything to be able to be that kind of a leader to a young woman who I may come into contact with. Those leaders helped me to stay on track in life, they were friends who would talk with me like a mother, but again as a friend also. They taught me many gospel truths and values which have made a huge difference and strengthened my testimony of the truthfulness of it.
I love my family and my leaders and my church. I also love my friends.. My closest friends in church, if I didn't have them i am sure I would have found a different way. I am so grateful for their friendships, they may not know just how much I came to trust them. I did my best when I was with them. I was not always ms perfect but I did my best and they helped me to be my best and to stay out of most trouble. I am very grateful to them and I love them also. I have so much in my heart right now i just wanted to write it down. I love my life and I love my church, my family, leaders, and friends. I am so blessed to have had every person a part of my life. Thanks to anyone and everyone who has been an example to me of truth and honesty and hard work! I love you all!!!! End~

looking at my life now 2 years later. I really do feel so happy to have come to where I am right now. Over the last 2 years I have been in a few different wards. I have met new people who have been such good examples to me. There were a few women in my last ward in boise, who helped me a ton with EmmaLynn when I had to go back to work. They didn't want to get paid, they just wanted to help and they loved to take EmmaLynn. I I got to work with one of them in Achievement Days, it was so fun and nice to have a good friend.
I am so happy to have such a beautiful daughter and a husband who treats me very well. He has days where he is really thoughtful and others where he is very forgetful, but I still love him! :) I am grateful to my in-laws for their kindness. My sister in Law Jennifer, what a great sister she is! She also helped me out with EmmaLynn.. actually watched her for several months the whole time I was at work. She was also fun to hang out with and talk to.. She is another best friend I have that I also call my sister! Love her and miss her a ton!
To my parent in laws I am very grateful for their generosity in allowing us to live in their basement for a short time. Hopefully by the end of summer after we are done in Florida we can be on our own again and debt free!
I have also been so blessed to have been near Eleasha to spend a lot of time with her and her kids. She is also an example I look up to. She is an awesome mother and she is great with her kids! I am grateful to have the opportunity to spend time with her and have fun and learn from her!
Now lastly but not least at all I am grateful for the church leaders and especially Gordon B. Hinckley. He was such a great prophet I loved to hear from him, and looked forward to every time he spoke. He was for sure a prophet called of God, and now with our new prophet Thomas S. Monson, I know he will be a great prophet as well. I love the gospel and love our leaders. I am blessed to have been born into the gospel!
I am glad to say I still have many people that have come into my life at this point also who are helpful in many ways! I know there will be many more. Now is there anything better than that!?.....

It's been a while.
So It has been a while since I have updated my blog.. I have been really busy trying to get things organized for the next few weeks and our vacation... So what have we been doing.
Well Dan is going to Florida for a few weeks to sell security systems... He is going by himself cause if he is not able to sell he is coming back here, However if he does sell well, we will be down to join him in Florida for the summer! So I do hope that he does well, it will be quite an experience to be in a different place and I will be able to see my friend from Alabama and do all sorts of things I wouldn't have been able to do. So I guess we will see how it goes.
We decided that before he left we would finish using up our vacation that we had previously paid for. The only place open was in McCall Idaho. We set it up and left this last friday for McCall and stopped in Pullman to see Gailyn, and then after McCall we went down to Boise to see my sister in law on Sunday and monday dropped Dan off at the airport to go to SLC then to Florida. EmmaLynn and I then drove home from Boise all day Monday... What an adventure.. we had fun though. here are some pictures from this weekend and some funny videos.
EmmaLynn is talking more and more everyday! It is so fun to hear her cute little voice and the new things that she says.
Here is a video of EmmaLynn and Keeley dancing around in Eleasha's living room...
Up in McCall there wasn't much to do. My sister in law said that you could go ice skating with a stroller... so we took EmmaLynn ice skating!!! She loved it... She lasted 2 hours there just riding around!!! It was so much fun!
At my Sister in law's in Boise. They have a little miniature dog.. EmmaLynn was trying to get to the dog and was getting so frustrated... especially when Lady (the dog) got behind Paul (my brother in law) she wanted to pet the dog so bad! it was soooo funny... she kept chasing it saying "doggie"

Happy Easter
When EmmaLynn found her basket she found her momma ducky and 2 little baby duckies, and also found the duck whistle. here she is carrying it all even the duck whistle! She can't blow it so instead she just tries to make the noise herself! It is sooo cute!
Here she is finding her basket... she took everything out and carried as much as she could around the house!
