Crazy, Funny Fun

This last week has been quite a crazy one. Work has kept me very busy and wishing more than ever that I could be at home with my sweet little EmmaLynn and be working on another little baby.  I am hoping the time will come soon enough, we have a few ideas on the horizon. We just have to wait and see how they turn out. EmmaLynn has been growing like crazy. She talks all the time, and recently has even started calling us honey. I call Dan "honey" apparently a lot more than I thought I did.  She usually says " Water Honey? Water honey please." It is so cute. her new favorite show is the backyardagains. She loves to sing and dance with them. We don't have TV so I bought her a backyardigans dvd. Whenever an episode is over she always waves at the tv and calls " bye kids, bye kids" it is SOOO funny.  I still have yet to capture these cute things on video.  She is loving nursery, every Sunday when we walk into church she wants to go straight there, first thing.  Then when it IS time to go she looks up at me as we walk there saying "ersery mamma... ersery please.. OKAY"  I am so amused, because she never cries when we drop her off, but somedays she is throws a fit cause we are picking her up and she is not ready to leave her friends in the nursery. 

So, between keeping busy at work and EmmaLynn, I find myself working on my calling for church. I was asked to be the " Enrichment Counselor" in the relief society.  Well, little did I know when I had agreed to this calling it wasn't what it sounded like. I didn't realize the real name for the calling was, 2nd counselor in the Relief Society Presidency.  That must have been their plan. hehe... I went to Relief Society and, not knowing , I sat in with the rest of the women. Then the Relief Society president told me I was supposed to come sit up front with them.. I was ultimately confused, till after the meeting was over and this was explained to me.  Wow, if i had only known what I was agreeing to...  :)  ... just kidding. It is a really great opportunity, and the women I am serving with are wonderful, I am excited to help and work with the women of our ward they are all amazing women. 

I also got invited to go to girls camp in Florida this weekend,  which I am so excited about. This time we get to camp in cabins and there is a pool. No air conditioning though, so we shall see how that turns out. I have a lot of fun new opportunities and can't wait to get involved completely and meet all sorts of new people.
