Last Saturday we didn't have any plans, so we decided to take the boat out for one last time on the water and have a picnic lunch. We loaded up Saturday morning and headed out to Priest Lake. It was absolutely beautiful. We took the boat and checked out some of the camp sites for next year and just boated around. It was lots of fun. EmmaLynn loved it. She sat with everyone and squealed and cheered with the wind blowing in her face. We had a great time. It was a very nice and somewhat relaxing day, besides the fact that getting in and out of the boat while pregnant is not the easiest thing. Here are some pictures of our adventure.

Potty Time with EmmaLynn
She is so entertaining.. She started talking about a monster prior to these videos, and saying "Shhhh, be quiet". I don't know why she started talking about a monster so much, but it is very cute still.
The Ouch at the end of the second video is not a turd... lol.. she just pinched her finger between the seat when she was moving.

Emmalynn Jumping on the trampoline
She is so cute.. I love watching her on the trampoline.
THERE ARE 2 NEW POSTS BELOW THIS ONE TO SEE MORE PICTURES AND ADVENTURES.
oh yea and by the way, we did go to see if we could find out what baby number 2 would be.... Well we were able to find out that it is either a boy or a girl. Just like EmmaLynn did, this baby was crossing it's little legs and covering any signs. What got me was that the lady doing the ultrasound said " well I am going to lean towards a boy" She didn't have any good reasoning cause we couldn't see anything. I decided I don't think I want to go with "I LEAN towards..." So we will just wait and see when baby comes. Either way we will be happy.
Fun on Tubs Hill In Coeur d'Alene
Yesterday we went to Tubs Hill for Family Home Evening with Jesh, Brooke, Christian and Collin. We hiked up and back down to a little beach area where the kids had fun throwing rocks and splashing in the water. They got a little bit wetter than we would have liked them to get, but it was fun. EmmaLynn and Christian were holding hands giggling the whole time we were walking up there. They are good buddies. Here are some of the pictures from our night.

lots to catch up
Well, I have been quite the blogging slacker lately. There has been a lot to blog about.
We went to a family reunion at the end of July. Right after we left California we went there with all our things. It was fun. I was able to go rafting. EmmaLynn even had a trip down with us. It was so much fun, here are some rafting pictures.
Then I spent almost a week in Boise with my sister-in-law Jenny. It was fun, She was so sweet to take me home with her while her kids were in Coeur d' Alene with Grandma Johnson. I rode up with her to pick her kids up from Coeur d'Alene, she stayed a few more days to visit with us. We were able to play at the beach a few times and ride in the boat. We took EmmaLynn tubing behind the boat, and she absolutely loved it.. she stood up and was jumping up and down, I wish I had got some pictures of it. We'll get some the next time we go out though.
I have spent this week working on potty training EmmaLynn. The first couple of days were a bit frustrating, but 3rd day is getting much better. I am hoping by the weeks end we might be able to leave the house.
Last but certainly not least, Dan finally got a job in the Air Force. He is going to be a weatherman apprentice. He will leave for Basic Training December 8th. Lucky for us, as long as the baby is on time he will be here for when the baby is born and then a week later leave. It seems like it is going to be a really good opportunity, and we are very excited to finally get this show on the road. Until he leaves, he is working flagging jobs to make ends meet for now.
