Coeur d'Alene Birthday

Here is the ducky Cake I made him. It turned out better the second time around.

So the first cake I made the head fell apart upon taking it out of the pan... So I got a little creative, since it was closer to Halloween time when we celebrated in Coeur d'Alene. Poor ducky

I just used some red sprinkles and by the time they melted on the cake it looked like dripping blood... A little morbid? don't worry we just used it as the extra cake if we needed more. It did taste delicious though

He wasn't too sure what to do to the duck... when he did touch it, he got pretty upset cause he couldn't get the frosting off his fingers.

He did eventually eat some... not much though.

clean up time, he had it in is diaper... yummy

He wasn't really thrilled about the clean up process.
It was a great treat to be able to have a little birthday bash with family before we left for Louisiana.
