BMT Weekend Part 1

Dan Graduated from BMT (Basic Military Training) in San Antonio at Lackland AFB. We went down there for all the ceremonies. We really enjoyed our time with him. There are 3 other posts below of all of our festivities while we were there.

Dan lost quite a few inches while at BMT. He kept telling me he hadn't lost anything.. I knew better than that.
One of the things we did was go to the San Antonio Zoo. Here's EmmaLynn with her Grandpa Johnson looking at the animals she couldn't see from the stroller.

I do have to say I am so proud of Dan and everything he's accomplished for our family. We have a lot of new adventures ahead of us and I am so excited and happy to have such a great guy by my side.

BMT Graduation weekend part 2

These pictures are in no particular order. They're all kind of jumbled together, kinda the way the weekend felt. Our schedule was sooooo out of wack while we were there, and we were all pretty exhausted, but we did enjoy our time with Dan. We look forward to being together as a family again soon.

Enjoying some Texas Roadhouse. YUMMY. We found out some interesting facts about it. The first Texas Roadhouse was in Indiana and their head quarters are in Kentucky.
EmmaLynn loved being with her Daddy. During the ceremonies she would say cute things like "go Daddy" and " Yay for Dad" and "Good Job Daddy"

We also went bowling as a family. It happened to be the first time EmmaLynn has ever been bowling. She had lots of fun... She had more fun jumping up and down after she rolled the ball, she didn't even wait for it to hit the pins before she celebrated. It was super cute.

River Walk in San Antonio

Here are some pictures of the San Antonio River Walk. The River Walk is a really neat little place in downtown San Antonio. It has a river that runs through downtown and you can walk all the way around it. Along the way there are little shops and tons of little restaurants where you can eat. It was a very beautiful day, and perfect conditions to walk downtown and be near the water. They also have little boat rides that you can take and they'll have a guide talk about the history of the area. We didn't do that, but it was still really neat, you almost feel like you're in another country when you're there.

Here's a picture after the graduation parade of our family.

San Antonio Temple

Here are some pictures from the San Antonio temple. We stopped there before we got on the airplane to go back home after our long weekend. It was so beautiful. The water is always beautiful. All the windows were stained glass with beautiful paintings.

January's Happenings

Well, It's been a while since I've updated my blog. The month of January has been a crazy one. When I look back I wonder where it went. I can say now, I have an idea of what it is like to be a single mom. It's been a month full of sickness and some fun too. I've been sick with several different things since New Years. I can't believe time has gone by so fast. Ezyas has grown at least 3 inches since the beginning of the year. His 2 month appointment he weighed 11.14. I am sure by now he's at least 12 or more. He's smiling a lot and he loves EmmaLynn. The feeling is mutual and she loves it when he smiles at her. I can't believe how much she has grown too. She is getting ready to be 3 in March I can hardly believe it. I am so blessed to have such sweet children. I also can't believe that this Wednesday I will finally get to see Dan again. It has been so long, yet I have been so busy it seems like it went by fast. I am starting to get used to being alone in bed at night. Eventually I will have to share again, but I am so excited to see him again. We'll finally have a fresh start to get things going for at least the next 6 years. That is a very comforting thought. In a couple months I will be able to join Dan in Mississippi for Tech school and finally have a place to call my own, for a little while anyway. I can't wait to find out where we will be stationed, we should know with in a few weeks. Another highlight of the month was going to Pullman and spending a week hanging out with my sisters. I totally plan on going again when I come back. Maybe I will find a way down to Boise too. It seems to make time go by much much quicker when I take it a week at a time and have fun keeping busy. I also celebrated my 25th birthday with my inlaws, which is always a treat. Yummy Potatoe soup and cheesecake and games of course. I can hardly believe I am this old. I am halfway to 50. Hope the next 25 years are great :) Here are some pictures of the kids in the mean time.
EmmaLynn and her sweet little self. She is getting so grown up. I love it.

Ezyas funny face.. He looks surprised
This isn't the best angle on the picture. I was trying to get him in his sunday clothes, he looks SOOO handsome in them. I'll get a better one and post it later. The collar is to die for on him.. also look how big he has gotten... It's insane.
He's such a happy boy. He loves to smile and even kinda giggles a little bit. He's so much fun, I am so in love.

EmmaLynn loves to sit next to him and hold him. When she gets up in the morning she'll come in my room and look for him right away. They're pretty much the cutest kids ever. I might be a little biased though.

My Cute Babies

Here are some cute pictures of my sweet little babies.

Ezyas smiles for the camera.. Finally. It sure brightens your day when your baby smiles at you for the first time.

EmmaLynn looking adorable as always.

Ezyas is so handsome in his Osh Kosh Out fit.. One of my favorites on him.. And EmmaLynn holding Ezyas after waking up from nap hence the crazy hair. Aren't they just so adorable?

Christmas Pictures

So here are some pictures from Christmas time. They are kinda mixed up, but oh well. We had a good time despite Dan not being with us. EmmaLynn especially loves her bike she got. The look on her face when she saw it Christmas morning was priceless. I will have to get my mother in laws camera for the picture of EmmaLynn on it when she first saw it. It was perfect. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Johnson.

EmmaLynn swimming in the wrapping paper. She had so much fun on Christmas.

EmmaLynn and Christian playing on her new Ariel tricycle she got for Christmas.

And her new baby she got. She likes to burp the baby just like mommy does with Ezyas.

Christmas Eve was full of fun. Decorating a gingerbread house with Aunt Amber and Grandma. She also got to open up her Christmas Dora Jammies. She loves them. We also did the Christmas story with the kids EmmaLynn was Joseph.. although we could barely get her to hold still long enough to get a picture. It was quite funny, she was dancing around and bending the poster board.. It was so much fun.

sorry it is sideways.. but this is her rocking her baby like I do with Ezyas.. so so cute
