Cockroach and Easter Fun

So, this is quite a late post about easter, but here it is anyway.

Now this was not on easter, and the picture doesn't do justice to how big this cockroach actually was... but it was huge.. and because I wanted to get a picture, it got away. Later that night I swear it was the same one... was found crawling on my leg as I was sitting down to nurse Ezyas. You should have seen me FREAK out. It was the grossest thing ever. Dan did finally catch it, wrap it in a plastic bag, and then proceeded to smack the heck out of it on the tile floor to kill it with out a mess. He then tied the bag in a knot and put it in the can outside. It was quite the adventure. I hope I never get that close to another cockroach again.

Now the actual Easter information

I was talking to Eleasha just before Easter, and she gave me the idea to have yarn lead EmmaLynn to her Easter basket. It was not nearly as cool or complex as what the Easter bunny did for her kids, but it was fun for EmmaLynn none the less. She was so excited to wake up and follow the string all the way around the house to her, not 1, but 2 baskets... one from Grammy and Grandpa Johnson and one from the Easter bunny of course.

she also found a new backyardigans movie from the easter bunny. She hugged it as soon as she saw it. " my favorite backyardigans" she said.

Even though Ezyas was too small to understand, I indulged on new clothes for him since he is growing like crazy and easter helped me to justify the purchase.
