knee boarding in October

Well, The weather was so great when we got here. It was like our warm weather followed us up to Coeur d' Alene. Dan thought it was even warm enough to Knee Board. So we went out on the boat and he did.. Did I think it was warm enough? NO!! But Dan also thought it was cool to jump in the Pacific Ocean at the end of September to propose to me. He's so silly sometimes. He did have a good time though.

I thought this picture of her hanging over the back of the boat was too cute... even if she does have a swim suit wedgie!! :)
We also went to a park in Post Falls and had a picnic. It was fun to hang out in the beautiful outdoors and not sweat your behind off!
Ezyas and Aunt Amber
EmmaLynn "Doctoring" Uncle Aaron. The little Doctor kit is one of her favorite toys to play with. It think I know at least one thing Santa is going to get her...

Happy Birthday Grandpa

We went out to dinner @ Texas Roadhouse with the family for Grandpa Johnson's birthday

Ezyas didn't give the funny face we expected when we gave him lemon. He actually liked it and wanted some more!

Here's the family all squished around the table.

Ezyas and Grandpa enjoyed their time!!

EmmaLynn and Kaylee also had fun playing around the handicap pole in the parking lot outside Texas Roadhouse as we were leaving!!

EmmaLynn also had fun helping to decorate Grandpa's cake!!

Boise again

We had lots of fun with family in Boise we got to join Jennie and Paul and their family and friends for the tailgate party. There was lots of yummy food and we went home just as the game started so we could catch the game on tv. It was great and our BSU Bronco's won!!

Dan was so sweet and surprised me with a super fantastic date night. He got us tickets to go see Brad Paisly on his H2O tour. It was sooo fun and the best concert I've ever been to.

Darius Rucker and Justin Moore opened for Brad Paisley. It was such a great concert. We even got to hear some old school Hootie and the Blowfish!!

On the road again

Here are a few random pictures of our journey along the way to Utah. We had frequent stops.. EmmaLynn was great, and Ezyas was surprisingly not as bad as we'd imagined. The hardest part was getting him back in the carseat... He still has some issues with it to this day, but not nearly as bad as on the trip.

These two pictures were somewhere in Arizona on the way there. We had some interesting experiences.. Dan almost got us killed in a head on collision at one point, and later this night before we got into Utah, EmmaLynn had enough and puked on the side of the road. Poor girl, we spent way to long in the car.

EmmaLynn was so happy to be in a place where she could play with her cousins. She had fun dressing up with Alexxis and playing with Conner and AJ.

Here is a silly picture of Ezyas. We found these silly antlers at Aunt Brooke's house and they sure made for a great picture moment.
We loved spending time with all our family in Utah. We were even able to visit my Uncle Rick and Aunt Jenny and my cousin Brooke. We had so much fun. Wish we could have stayed longer to visit all our friends in Utah too. Maybe some other trip. :)

We arrived...

We arrived at our first stop in Bossier City, it was a long drive. At one point when we were nearing Bossier City I told Dan to go on ahead of me. Little did I know his phone was dying, and when I tried to get a hold of him to find out where he was I couldn't get a hold of him. It was pure luck that I just drove around and decided to find the Storage unit... I saw the budget truck stop right behind me. We were both relieve to see each other. While the guys unloaded the truck the kids were able to play. Ezyas was so happy to just crawl around.

We let EmmaLynn ride her bike before we packed it in the storage unit. We were planning on leaving right after dropping everything off at the storage unit. Well, plans always change... Dan was taking the truck to get it weighed and ran out of gas. So he had to make several trips to a gas station... needless to say we didn't end up leaving till the next day. One of the members who was helping us unload, invited us to stay at his house for the night. We gladly accepted and were able to bathe the kids and get a good nights sleep. I am so thankful to find great members everywhere we go.

Graduation Day

So after we had all of our stuff packed up, we had Wednesday graduation day. Dan graduated from Weather training. They even presented the spouses with a certificate of appreciation for being supportive during school.
* funny graduation story*
So after each student was given their certificate they were allowed to say a few words of thanks. When it came Dan's turn he offered up a great speech of thankfulness, when he was finished I think he forgot where he was, cause he began to close with " I say these things in the name... uh yea thanks"
Except the only people who knew what he was trying to say and why it was so funny were the few LDS people in the room. You'll have to listen to the video below to see what I mean.

Moving day for the 10th time

We decided to move our selves. We got this budget truck for $220, seriously awesome deal. Everyone else we checked with was asking double that for their biggest truck.

I am so grateful to have people in the ward here who helped us out. Sister Vadrine (Relief Society President) helped me out Tuesday all day packing the rest of my house and was there at midnight helping us clean and mop everything up too. I couldn't have done it with out her.

We also had our good friends the Cook's come over for a last goodbye, and they helped us clean like crazy too. We'll miss them so much.

A random picture. We were so grateful to the Relief Society and Elders Quarm sp? who helped us out. Next time, if I have anything to say about it.... The military will do it all!!
